Brown County State Park in Nashville, Indiana features 401 electric (Class A) campsites, 17 of which are wheelchair accessible. These campsites are located in Buffalo Ridge, Taylor Ridge and Raccoon Ridge Campgrounds. These modern sites include:

The Horsemen's Campground at Brown County State Park features 118 horseman electric (Class A) campsites, 1 of which is wheelchair accessible. These modern sites include:

- tie-up for 6 horses*
* An Annual Horse Tag is required for each horse.
Brown County State Park has 28 non-electric (Class B) campsites. They are all located in the semi-wooded Raccoon Ridge Campground.

The Horsemen's Campground at Brown County State Park features 86 horseman primitive (Class C) campsites. These primitive sites include:

Winter Camping: As temperatures fall in November, the campgrounds move to winter services and rates. Electricity, water and one modern restroom/shower house will be available in the family campground. Some campground loops may be closed. Primitive camping is still available. Regular rates and some services resume in mid March. Full services are available May - October.
Brown County State Park features a Rally Campground with 60 campsites in 4 separate Rally Camps. The Rally Camps are designed for groups of 5 or more camping units (families). Rally 1 holds up to 150 campers. Rally 2 and Rally 4 hold up to 75 campers. Rally 5 holds up to 50 campers. The primitive campsites include:
- fire rings
- picnic tables
- shared pit toilets (no showers or restrooms)
- drinking water supply near campground
The campground at Brown County State Park features one group Youth Tent Area (also known as Rally 3) for groups of 10 or more, with campers under 21 years of age and their adult leaders. Intended for the public, semi-public and not-for-profit groups only, the Youth Tent Area is for tent camping only and holds a maximum of 75 people. Youth Tent Area campsites include:
- fire rings
- picnic tables
- shared pit toilets (no showers or restrooms)
- drinking water supply near campground
The Camp Store, located by the entrance to the campgrounds, offers picnic supplies, souvenirs, gifts, snacks, refreshments, firewood & ice. They can be contacted at (812) 988-5991.

NOTE: RVs & vehicles towing trailers must use the West Gate Entrance (off S.R. 46, west of Nashville).
The North Gate Covered Bridge is restricted to 9 foot height and 3 ton weight limits.
Horsemen's Campground users should use the entrance off 135 South.
