At Brown County State Park in Nashville, Indiana you can enjoy warm-weather fishing or ice fishing for bass, bluegill and more on both Ogle Lake (17 acres) and Strahl Lake (7 acres).

A state license is required to fish here. Licenses are available at the park office, as well as online and by mail. For more information about purchasing a state fishing license go to INHuntFish.com, call (317) 232-4200 or contact:

Strahl Lake

Boating

Non-motorized boats (e.g. canoes, kayaks, rowboats) or boats with electric trolling motors are allowed on Ogle Lake only. However, there is no boat ramp, and no boat rentals are available. You must bring your own boat, and a DNR lake permit is required.

Notice: Swimming in Ogle Lake or Strahl Lake is prohibited.

NOTE: RVs & vehicles towing trailers must use the West Gate Entrance (off S.R. 46, west of Nashville).
The North Gate Covered Bridge is restricted to 9 foot height and 3 ton weight limits.
Horsemen's Campground users should use the entrance off 135 South.
